Pool Decks

Pool deck cleaning. Grip stays. Grime goes.

Pool decks are the trickiest concrete on the property — cool-deck and Kool-crete surfaces are soft and can be stripped by the wrong pressure, stamped concrete has color-hardener you don't want to erode, and pavers need different chemistry than a slab. We pick the method to match the surface.

What do homeowners ask about Pool Decks?

Will you damage my Kool-deck?

Not with our method. Kool-deck is an acrylic-coated textured cement and it's easy to erode with high pressure or aggressive chemistry. We use low pressure with a surface cleaner float-technique and mild chemistry. If the Kool-deck is already failing (flaking, hollow), we'll tell you before we start — no surprise worse-than-before.

Can chemistry get into my pool?

We cover the pool or work with the cover on when possible, use a plant-safe and pool-compatible chemistry at the correct dilution, and rinse toward the lawn/drain — not toward the pool. Minor inadvertent overspray into a sanitized pool is not a problem. Heavy contamination is, and we avoid it.

What about the calcium ring at the waterline?

That's a tile cleaning, not a deck cleaning — different tool (bead blaster or pumice + chemistry). We can do it as part of the deck visit or refer to a pool tile specialist if it's a full-scale glass-bead bead-blasting job.

Can you seal the pool deck?

On stamped concrete, yes — acrylic sealer with anti-slip additive. On cool-deck we usually skip sealing because the texture is part of the product. On travertine or flagstone we'll do a penetrating stone seal that doesn't change the look.

Homeowners who hired us for this

North-facing side of our house was black with streaking. They softwashed the siding and the roof the same morning and left the place looking five years younger. No pressure damage to the stucco, no splatter on the windows. Honest pricing.

Got three quotes. Rinse Pro was the only one to explain the hot-water surface cleaner versus a cold-water wand. You can see the difference in the finish. Driveway looks like it was poured last week.

David K. Driveway & Patio Cleaning · El Cajon

I was worried about them walking on our clay tile roof. They did the whole thing from the ground with a long soft-wash wand and the black streaks were gone in one visit. Professional, clean, and they showed up when they said they would.
