Driveway Cleaning

Driveway cleaning in San Diego. No streaks, no etching.

A garden hose will not move the mildew. A box-store Ryobi will leave wand stripes. We run a hot-water surface cleaner at the right pressure, pre-treat with a degreaser on oil spots, and post-rinse so you don't end up with a lighter rectangle in the middle of a darker slab.

What do homeowners ask about Driveway Cleaning?

Will pressure washing etch my concrete?

Not with a surface cleaner. A surface cleaner spreads the flow across a spinning bar, so no single point of the slab sees wand-tip pressure. Etching happens when someone gets close with a 0-degree tip — that's the wand-stripe look you see on neighborhood driveways. We don't use 0-degree tips on concrete.

Can you get old oil stains out?

Mostly, yes. Fresh oil lifts almost completely with a hot-water pre-treat and a degreaser soak. Old, deep stains (years of drips) will fade significantly but may leave a shadow — concrete is porous and oil migrates deep. We'll be honest about the expected result before we start.

How often should I have the driveway cleaned?

Most San Diego homes look best on a yearly rinse — once after winter rains settle the marine-layer algae, or before a spring listing. High-shade or coastal homes sometimes want twice a year. Inland East County homes can stretch 18 months without much buildup.

Do I need to move the cars?

Yes, off the slab and out of overspray range (about 15 feet). We'll remind you the day before. If you have limited street parking, we can work around it in sections — takes a bit longer but it works.

Homeowners who hired us for this

North-facing side of our house was black with streaking. They softwashed the siding and the roof the same morning and left the place looking five years younger. No pressure damage to the stucco, no splatter on the windows. Honest pricing.

Got three quotes. Rinse Pro was the only one to explain the hot-water surface cleaner versus a cold-water wand. You can see the difference in the finish. Driveway looks like it was poured last week.

David K. Driveway & Patio Cleaning · El Cajon

I was worried about them walking on our clay tile roof. They did the whole thing from the ground with a long soft-wash wand and the black streaks were gone in one visit. Professional, clean, and they showed up when they said they would.
